Music is one of the most excellent gifts of God! All through out Scripture, God’s people sing. The Psalms are a prime example of that. From the time of the Old Testament, God’s people sang the psalms in worship. Emmanuel offers a comprehensive music ministry for all ages including:

Adult Choir:
Our adult choir serves as the primary musical leaders for our 11:00 worship service. They sing a variety of anthems from classical music, spirituals, gospel music, and other styles. This ensemble is open to any confirmed member of the congregation and rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 in the choir room, located next to the chapel.

Youth Choir:
The youth choir is open to all middle and high school students and sings several times throughout the school year. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30-7:00.

Children’s Choir
The youth choir is open to elementary aged disciples. They learn a variety of anthems to develop young voices. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:00-6:30.

Handbell Choir
The handbell choir plays several times a year in worship to praise God. This is a wonderful and fun way to make music. Check the church newsletter for rehearsal times.
